Are email addresses verified, and where do they come from?

People are found through B2B data providers and the company's own website; each address shows its check state and why.

People at companies that fit are found through professional B2B data providers and, where needed, the company's own website. They are ranked by the priority titles set in the copilot.

Every email address is checked with an email verification service. In the results table's Email column, and in its email filter, you see one of these states:

  • Verified: the address was checked and is valid.
  • Accept-all server: the company's mail server accepts every address, so this one can't be confirmed. It may still be correct.
  • No clear answer: we checked the address, but the mail server did not reply clearly. It may still be correct.
  • Invalid address: the mail server reported that the address does not exist or is a throwaway address. Don't send to it.
  • Not checked yet: the address hasn't been checked.

Hover over a state to see the same explanation. You don't need a separate verification tool. To keep your bounce rate low, prefer verified addresses in campaigns where you can.

Addresses that bounce permanently are added to Blocked addresses automatically and are never emailed again.
